Mixing it Up
Liegeois paired vintage seating upholstered in green and gray Fortuny fabric with more modern pieces, like this oval bamboo coffee table.
Brick by Brick
The Chicago brick flooring laid in a herringbone pattern was original to the home. Liegeois allowed it to take center stage, instead of covering it with an outdoor rug.
Ode to Organics
To embrace the outdoors, Liegeois used lamps reminiscent of mangroves, shell-clad accessories, and a nest made from old vines foraged from the property.
Fabulous Florals
Pillows by Christian Lacroix offer pops of color. “The non matching element is what gives the room the whimsy we were after,” Liegeois notes.
Gather ‘Round
For maximum durability and weather resistance, Liegeois chose an all-marble table for entertaining and dining.
Layered Looks
Liegeois installed overlays by Acurio Lattice and faux grenery from Bee Art to add texture and dimension “We wanted an English conservatory feeing,” she says.
Have a Seat
Liegeois says garden seats are always a good choice, “both as side tables and an extra seat, if needed.”
