Art of Murf

For over thirty years, Marvin (Murf) Murphy has used his keen sense of color, design and form, to create dynamic images which evoke inspiration and appeal to the senses. Murf’s multi-dimensional, mixed media pieces have gained him recognition and popularity on an international level.

Murf claims many of the inspirations of his art can be attributed to his love of music, science and nature. Over the years, Murf has been involved in many environmental projects. His designs have raised substantial amounts of money for environmental, educational and social causes.

Murf’s work can be seen at his newly opened showroom, The Murphy House Studio located in Ft. Lauderdale. This new studio features original art by Murf as well as his four daughters who are also artists. Murf’s new art studio is available for interior decorators, architects, collectors and all those interested in abstract, contemporary art.
